Pokemon Go Tips and Tricks

Team Mystic T-Shirts: http://ift.tt/29CSRka 18 tips and tricks for Pokemon Go I’m not gonna waste your time, let’s get right into it. Nearby Pokemon - More foot prints mean that the pokemon is further away. - Pokemon are ordered nearest to furthest in your nearby pokemon list. The closest pokemon are at the beginning of the list, while the furthest are at the end of the list. - Lures and incense last for 30 minutes, but lures allow everyone in the area to capture pokemon. The best way to find pokestops with lures placed on this is either in your on-screen map or checking out any social media groups for your area. There are like 7 for my little town - If you want a specific pokemon on that list, the best thing to do is to go and start walking. If the number of foot prints goes down, or if the pokemon moves up in your list, you’re heading in the right direction. If you see that a new pokemon pops in and moves the one that you’re after down a spot, you might want to keep going in that direction anyways. As you move, the game updates your location and other pokemon might wander closer to your area. - There is some discussion about the pulses that appear around your nearby pokemon icon. Some say that it’s an indication that you’re moving or facing the right direction to capture the pokemon that you’re targeting. Others state that it’s an indication that the nearby pokemon area has updated and that there are new pokemon in your area. I personally lean towards the latter as I have walked in circles and the thing still pulses and I have noticed that everytime there’s a pulse, a new pokemon has shown up on my list. Gym Battles - Aside from bragging rights and controlling turf, if one of your pokemon is in a gym controlled by your faction, you receive a coin bonus every 21 hours. - When selecting which pokemon to transfer back to the professor, take a look at your pokemon’s hit point and attacks. If you’re interested in player verses player battles, you’ll want pokemon with lots of hit points and stronger attacks. I suggest that you choose pokemon with the strongest basic attacks since that is what you will use most often - When a pokemon evolves, it’s stats are usually multiplied. So, it’s best to raise a pokemon as high as you can with candies before evolving it, since the effects will be multiplied afterwards. IAP - I have actually been spending a little bit of money on in app purchases for work. However, I have found that the pokestops themselves drop just about everything, save for the expansion items (which I have simply not seen yet). - I have noticed that Lure Modules attract more pokemon than Incense does. - If you want to go crazy and spend a ton of money on this game, the highest cost iap is 14,500 coins for $99.99. This will allow you purchase 170 lure modules if you purchase the 8 pack for 680 coins. This gives you an average cost of $.59 per lure instead of $1 It also gives you 85 hours worth of lure uptime. Finding rare Pokemon - Really, the best advice that I can give at this point is to join a social media group, go out in groups, and look for maps like the one that we’ve made. Use your nearby pokemon tool as well. - Mew, Mewtwo, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos are all technically in the game, but are being reserved for special events. It looks like each faction will work together to battle a single pokemon. We don’t have, well any details quite yet, but I’ll keep you updated as they come out. Mix Tips - If you have more than one gmail account, you can have more than one Pokemon Go account. I personally wanted to join all three teams and have an account specifically for this channel that I will be recording from in my streams. - You can improve data usage and battery life by downloading the offline version of your area map through the Google Maps app. The process is pretty simple and it seems to have had a big affect on my cellphone. It makes it easier to record, too. - If you want to record or stream your gameplay, the app that I’m using is just the YouTube Gaming app. It has the option to record or stream your gameplay straight to YouTube – which is pretty cool. - You can get one of these awesome team mystic shirts by clicking on the link in the description!! - You don’t have to stare at your phone the whole time. There is a power save option that will black out your screen when you flip your phone upside down. Then, when you’re near a stop, gym or when a wild pokemon appears it will vibrate or make a noise. I really like this option. I also wanted to let you guys know that Niantic, the company that developed Pokemon Go, is actively working on updating the game and improving it. So, expect server and crash issues to diminish soon. They say that they want to issue bi-weekly updates. There are rumors that the pokemon from Generation 2, which would be Pokemon Gold and Silver, will be coming out towards the end of the year.
