Monster Collection Games - Card Kings: Dragon Wars
Today we begin a look at one of my favorite kind of game: monster collecting games! This obviously stems from my addiction to Pokemon and Digimon, but there have been some interesting interpretations of the genre over the years.
In this video, we're exploring a game called Card Kings Dragon Wars. It's a fun monster collection + TCG game with some really deep combat if you decide to explore it. Not only do you have monsters that you collect and level up, but those collected monsters also have cards that give them buffs, your enemies debuffs, and can really change the tide of battle. Not only that, but your own character has his or her own set of cards. Finding good synergy between all these different factors can make this a very interesting and time-consuming game. Honestly, we don't see strategy like this in other monster collector games.
