Pokemon Go Buddy System - Newest updates

Pokemon Go Buddy System Hi Everybody and welcome back to Lava Dragons, today I wanted to give a quick run down of the Pokemon Go buddy system. This was recently discovered in the data mined code from the game and looks like it’ll be going live in the next update. Now, for those that aren’t familiar with data mining, it’s where we take large amounts of information and look through it to find new information. In this case, we’re talking about the actual game code. Whenever there’s a new patch or update, we can compare the new code to the old and see what’s changed and sometimes get a glimpse at things to come – which is exactly what happened here. If you would like to take a look at the code. Basically, the Pokemon Go Buddy System is going to give us the choice to walk around with one of our Pokemon. Doing so will cause the Pokemon to collect or generate candy for that particular Pokemon and its evolutions (so, you walk a Squirtle, you get Squirtle candy that can be used on your Blastoise). This will happen every few kilometers, as the distance is based on the same system as hatching eggs. It does look like there’s a daily limit to how many candies you can get this way, but it’s still going to be a huge help for raising those hard to find Pokemon. I’m especially excited to do this with my Scyther. Now, there’s one last thing to mention. Just like in some of the games, where your chosen Pokemon walks around with you on screen, your chosen Pokemon will also appear in the game world with you. There are four sizes so far: medium, which would probably just be the normal size, Big, flying, and resting on your shoulder (yay for pirates!). The only thing that I think would make this better is if we could see other trainers and their Pokemon walking around and to be able to battle with them. But, that’s just me. By the way, it looks like Niantic has confirmed that they want to add trainer battles and it looks like we’ll see it in December/January of this year. There’s a link on that, too. (http://ift.tt/2baxASZ) Again, if you would like to read more about the specific details and take a look at the code they mention, there is a link that’ll take you straight there. Also, I’m not sure if you guys have seen these things yet, but there’s a link in the description for them as well. You have Pokemon keychains, Pokeballs, and all kinds of neat stuff on that site, so check it out if you are so inclined. But, that’ll do it for me. My name is Triston from Lava Dragons.
